Land-repurchase and lease arrangements
The State Government is offering the original landholders an opportunity to repurchase properties that were sold to the government. There is also great uncertainty over the future of lease arrangements entered into with QWI PL. If you have information to share that may be helpful to people in these situations making decisions about their future - please share it here. Co-ordinator-General's Report
On Tuesday 6th October 2009 the Co-ordinator-General submitted his final report on the Traveston Crossing Dam proposal to the Federal Govt for assessment under the EPBC Act. Health impacts
In two months, this announcement has already had a major adverse effect on stress levels and general health of the community. This forum is specifically for people affected by the dam announcement to start documenting these effects. Any future class actions will need documented evidence and the process of collecting this evidence needs to be thought about and discussed now.
