I hear that Terry Mackenroth - former pollie - has been buying land in Stage Two for Divine Homes. That would be in keeping with Divine Ltd's plans for SE Qld. See this site:

Read their plans - scary stuff. Words like this jump out at you...

Arawajo, I am not surprised.... opportunists!

A neighbour of ours one day was fending off some government people who wanted to come onto her land, (which incidentally is out of Stage 2) and survey for a road through her property. This road, or so she was told, was to go straight up to the back of our property which has 360 degree views and would be prime real estate if a dam was put in and if it was full of water as we have a couple of hundred acres also out of Stage 2. These government people told her the land here would all be subdivided- for... yep, housing. Rolling Eyes

Since Doug and I run stud cattle 'they' must be assuming that if a dam went in and we could not continue with the stud on the land that's left due to restrictions regarding drenching of cattle, spraying with Taktik etc, then we would surely have to sell out.

What a shock they have coming re the subdivision bit, assuming we'd sell it !!!! Oh we'd need a road into the property all right as the other would be 'underwater' if we lose this fight.

Back to your point re Terry M.... yes would not surprise me if he was in it up to his neck. Mad

What intimidation, what arrogance of these people ... surveying for a road based on assumptions.

I would not be surprised either. The man is a shiver looking for a spine to crawl up.

I am shocked. You mean "The Fox" hasn't put it on you all for a quick root? You must feel left out. Evertime he dons a frilly shirt and a badly designed suit, has a few drinkies the charm just sleazes out. Be still me heaving stomack. Smile
